Stella Swiss Quality Hotel

This is a lovely family-run hotel in a good, quiet location in Interlaken. We were able to walk quite easily from Interlaken West station, even with 2 very large suitcases, and on several occasions during our stay, walked, (without the cases), to Interlaken Out station. We found all the staff to be very friendly & helpful, the room was a good size with a comfortable bed, a small but perfectly equipped bathroom with over bath shower and good toiletries provided, and we had a lovely balcony, with two comfortable chairs and a nice mountain view. Although the setting is in a quiet location, the hotel is within very easy walking distance of lots of restaurants, shops and for the paragliding pick up and return point (paragliding being huge in Interlaken!). The hotel has a lovely quiet garden area out front which is well equipped with tables and chairs and where you can relax in either sun or shade. We particularly liked that a microwave, plates and cutlery are provided so that guests can eat their own meals in the lounge or outside and therefore save a bit of money by not having to always eat out (Switzerland being rather expensive). The breakfast buffet was excellent. The pool is lovely and is open from 7am to 10pm. There is also a treadmill, an elliptical, some free weights and resistance bands and an exercise ball, although as these are all sited in the pool area, which is kept very warm, workouts do tend to be quite sweaty!

The room is very clean, the facilities are complete, the staff are very warm and friendly, the night is very quiet, the breakfast is delicious !

The room was surprisingly large and had a balcony with seating. We were provided bathrobes and slippers without having to request them. There was a vanity kit in the bathroom together with the expected toiletries. Providing a clothes rack on the balcony for laundry was very thoughtful. Besides a coffee maker in the room, coffee and tea were available in the lobby all day. Very goobuffet breakfast with items constantly replenished. Very quiet, even though in a central location.

The view from the location was nice. Staff was really good and helpful. Rooms were clean and nice.

Beautiful, comfortable rooms with stunning views from the balcony . Very close to the train station and city centre. Great breakfast too. Staff was very helpful and friendly.
