Stella Swiss Quality Hotel

The hotel is at walking distance from Interlaken West train station. It is a spacious hotel, with a big decent size lobby, indoor swimming pool and a cafe. The rooms are spacious and have enough storage. The hotel staff is polite and helpful, the guy checking us in, volunteered to take our pictures in the beautiful garden. Our kids could play in the lobby, the breakfast was served indoor and outdoor. The breakfast spread was also good and they had baby seats as well.

This is a lovely family-run hotel in a good, quiet location in Interlaken. We were able to walk quite easily from Interlaken West station, even with 2 very large suitcases, and on several occasions during our stay, walked, (without the cases), to Interlaken Out station. We found all the staff to be very friendly & helpful, the room was a good size with a comfortable bed, a small but perfectly equipped bathroom with over bath shower and good toiletries provided, and we had a lovely balcony, with two comfortable chairs and a nice mountain view. Although the setting is in a quiet location, the hotel is within very easy walking distance of lots of restaurants, shops and for the paragliding pick up and return point (paragliding being huge in Interlaken!). The hotel has a lovely quiet garden area out front which is well equipped with tables and chairs and where you can relax in either sun or shade. We particularly liked that a microwave, plates and cutlery are provided so that guests can eat their own meals in the lounge or outside and therefore save a bit of money by not having to always eat out (Switzerland being rather expensive). The breakfast buffet was excellent. The pool is lovely and is open from 7am to 10pm. There is also a treadmill, an elliptical, some free weights and resistance bands and an exercise ball, although as these are all sited in the pool area, which is kept very warm, workouts do tend to be quite sweaty!

The hotel is perfectly located—just a 5-minute walk from the city center. Free parking was always available, which made things even more convenient. The hotel staff went well above and beyond their duties to assist me with a car rental issue. They also offered excellent advice on the local attractions I wanted to explore. Everyone was exceptionally kind, professional, and genuinely eager to make my stay memorable.

The room was large and cozy, everything was very sturdy and practical. The location of the hotel is very good, even for those who arrive without a car.

The view from the location was nice. Staff was really good and helpful. Rooms were clean and nice.
